The Future Gators classroom serves 46 children who are preparing to enter kindergarten.

Six full-time teachers assist children with kindergarten readiness skills which include early literacy and language, basic math concepts, social interaction, problem solving, self-help skills, and decision making. Teachers employ developmentally appropriate practices, teaching children through experience, exploration, and investigation.

The Future Gators class also offers a voluntary pre-kindergarten (VPK) program. Children who are 4 years old by September 1 are eligible to participate.
