The Digging the Love!event hosted by Chris Machen and Danette Good exceeded expectations! Over 200 guests enjoyed fine dining and beverages at the UF President’s house while engaging in some good natured bidding wars. Over 50 silent and live auction items including paintings from local artists, luxury vacations, dining certificates, health and fitness packages, Gator items and even a handmade quilt were auctioned off by Master of Ceremonies, UF soccer coach, Becky Burleigh. The generous donations of families, friends, and community partners exceeded our goal of $20,000. That, coupled with the $20,000 donated by the Rosengren family, gives us a nice budget to begin the playground renovation work. Baby Gator teachers, staff, and children thank everyone for their support of Baby Gator.
